Description
Southern Bastion of the Pre-Alps, the Audibergue mountain is in the form of an endless East-West shoulder that dominates the Loup valley in the North and the Grasse region in the South.
We will observe the striking contrast between the southern, abrupt and desert flank, in the ubac covered with a superb coniferous forest.
Due to its maritime situation and this difference in vegetation cover, climatic disturbances can arise, the most classic manifestation of which will be the tenacious haze that sometimes haunts the bare ridge of the Audibergue: clinging perfidiously to the limestone cliffs that overhang the plateau Of the Colle, she then envelops the mountain with an ionizing cap.
The ski resort of the Audibergue is transformed in the summer in an omnisports area where mountain bike trails, trial trials and of course hikes on foot or on horseback, not to mention the Via Souterrata.
