Lakes of Prals
Description
The circuit of the lakes of Prals or "Five Lakes", as they are called in Saint-Martin-Vésubie, makes it possible to penetrate the heart of the Mercantour while enjoying pleasant and easy trails, Range of any walker.
The rise of the valley of Prals constitutes in early summer a real enchantment through the flowered alpine pastures crossed by a fiery torrent.
The site of the lakes of Prals, on the other hand, contrasts with the cut-out edges of the Neiglier and Paranova which girdle it harmoniously; Relatively temperate (about 13 °), because shallow, these lakes lend themselves to swimming for the most courageous.
It is possible to add to the circuit described hereafter the ascent to and from the Prals (2,339 m) or the Valletta (2,496 m) summit: there will be a complete panorama Vésubie and the snowy peaks of the Oisans.
