Circuit of Sélasse
Description
The second largest municipality of the Alpes-Maritimes in terms of area after Tende, Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée (17,381 ha) has notable exhaustive itineraries, but also charming proximity courses such as this circuit linking the countryside of Sélasse and Supplies.
This one morning hike takes place in the adret overlooking the village through old farming areas where nature inexorably resumes its rights despite some islands still maintained.
You will benefit from a beneficial shade, hazelnut hedges, poplar forest and mezzanine sparse taking turns along the course to shelter the path of a sun sometimes too intense.
Some saving stops, at the cross of Selasse or the isolated barn of Fournels for example, will allow to taste a wide panorama on the Tine, the circus of Demandols and the skiable field of Lieuson-Bercha, inaugurated in 1985.
